based on the simple narrative structure of the original film and
designed to be accessible to history teachers/students. A
history of Afghanistan since WWII, via Arab Israeli conflict,
Cold War, Oil crisis and de-regulated banking, 1979 Soviet
invasion, Islamic fundamentalism, 9/11, 2001 US/UK invasion,
2008 banking crisis and ISIS. Basically one man's account of how
we got to where we are now. |
